Black Friday EEEK!

I really hate the thought of Black Friday 🙁  I can’t fathom getting up at the crack of dawn the day after Thanksgiving to go “bopping” amidst an angry mob; this is definitely not my idea of shopping on my day off. Sure, there may be some great deals, but it’s just not worth all the aggravation.

I’ve already done all of my “Black Friday” shopping by using my secret strategy that gets me ALL of the items on my wish list without ever leaving my bed. My secret strategy is to make all of my purchases online! Then I wait until later in the evening when the stores have pretty much regained their sanity, that’s when I’ll stroll on in and get a price match at the customer service desk. I’ve done this over the past few years and I have never had any problems, in fact I think they appreciate one less crazed early bird in line. Oh, and more importantly, I get a great parking spot. PRICELESS!!!

No crowds, no lines, no fights, no angry stares, no running, jumping or shoving and no getting up at 3am! A lot of major companies like Best Buy and Target have already posted their day after Thanks Giving sale coupons online for us to take advantage of. I have found that most stores only have a limited amount of “real sale” items per store anyway, so unless you are willing to camp outside the night before then don’t even waste your time. Be sure you thoroughly check the sales circulars to make sure that what you’re interrupting your precious sleep for is really worth it because many stores are advertising door buster “sales” when in fact the prices are only pennies shy of their typical everyday sales. Now, on the other hand, if you are just one of those people who truly enjoy shopping amidst a sea of irate, yelling, jostling, shoving, name calling, sales hungry people then happy shopping! And be careful, I’d hate to see you on You Tube with your wig twisted. LOL

Btw, Best Buy is offering some really, really grrreat deals on video games and electronics. No lines and you can pick it up at the store later if you like.
